Ijesa Land, Osun State
Hon. Gbenga Ajayi has strongly condemned the continuous loss of young lives through violence and insecurity in Ijesa Land, calling on all stakeholders to unite in the interest of peace and human dignity.

According to Hon. Ajayi, the increasing killing of young people is a painful development that must be brought to an end immediately, as the future of every community depends on its youths.
«"We must say no to the killing of our youths. Every living soul is important and precious. No family should be subjected to the pain of losing a loved one to violence. The lives of our young people must be protected at all costs."»
He urged traditional rulers, community leaders, religious bodies, security agencies, youth groups, and political stakeholders to work together to restore peace and ensure that lives and property are protected across Ijesa Land.
Hon. Ajayi further appealed to residents to shun violence, avoid actions capable of causing unrest, and embrace dialogue and peaceful coexistence as the only path to sustainable development.

He emphasized that peace remains the foundation for progress and prosperity, adding that Ijesa Land can only achieve its full potential in an atmosphere of unity, harmony, and mutual respect.
Hon. Gbenga Ajayi concluded by extending his condolences to families who have lost loved ones and prayed for lasting peace throughout Ijesa Land.
