Hon. Gbenga Ajayi Urges Party Members to Ignore Propaganda

Hon. Gbenga Ajayi has urged all party members, supporters and loyalists to remain calm and focused, dismissing allegations and rumours suggesting that Governor Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke and some members of the Imole Campaign Committee are planning to decamp to the APC following their visit to the Presidential Villa in Abuja after the Governor’s re-election victory.

According to Hon. Gbenga Ajayi, the visit should be seen as a demonstration of respect and statesmanship, as well as an opportunity to extend warm congratulations to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on behalf of the people and supporters of Osun State.

He appealed to party members not to allow themselves to be distracted by different forms of propaganda, misinformation and politically motivated rumours.

“Let us remain united, calm and focused. A visit to the Presidential Villa should not be twisted into something it is not. Our people should not be distracted by propaganda or rumours designed to create confusion within our ranks.

“Let us continue to respect the office of the President and maintain the spirit of democratic engagement while remaining committed to the progress of Osun State and the people we represent.”

Hon. Gbenga Ajayi further congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and expressed hope for continued peaceful cooperation between the Federal Government and Osun State.

He called on all supporters to remain vigilant, avoid spreading unverified information and focus on the development and unity of the state.
